The Curt hitch, part # C11375, is designed specifically for the Scion tC. It won't fit your 2018 Toyota RAV4 hybrid but we do have hitches that will.

Out of all of them I recommend the Curt Class III, part # C13406. A Class III hitch is 2 inches and has a much higher capacity than the Class I you were looking at. There's also a much larger variety of accessories that fit.

If you're going to be towing a trailer with your RAV4 you also need a ball mount. I've linked our selection to fit the Curt for you. You need to find the difference between the height of your trailer's coupler and the hitch. When we installed the Curt on a 2017 RAV4 it measured 15 inches. I've linked an article that explains how to find the rise or drop you need in detail.

You also need to power the trailer's lights. I recommend the Hopkins harness, part # HM11141820. It plugs in to connectors behind the paneling in your rear cargo area. Then you run the hot lead up to the vehicle battery.
