Will CIPA Towing Mirrors Scratch Chrome Mirrors on a 2018 Ford F-150

The stock mirrors on my truck are chrome. Will these scratch or damage the chrome on the stock mirrors?

The wedge parts of CIPA towing mirrors # CM11550 that make contact with the stock side mirrors on your 2018 Ford F-150 do have some soft, felt-like material to protect the mirror finish. This means the CIPA mirrors are less likely to scratch or mar the stock mirror surfaces. I have linked a video review of these mirrors for you.
