Updated 10/17/2011 | Published 10/15/2011 >
Question:
The instructions included with the trailer wiring package #C56332 were the wrong instructions. The instructions I received was for a wiring harness that goes thru the vehicle body which meant removing the rear tail lights. I have a 2012 Kia Sorento that has 2 plugs on the chassis of the driver side. There is an in-line transformer? which needs to be mounted on the under side, but I do not know where? Can you please supply me with the correct instructions? Thank you.

I can supply you with the correct instructions for the Curt Trailer Wiring Harness, # C56332. I have included a link to them for you. You will see that the instructions are numbered with the correct number, located directly above the English instructions. Please note that this harness is designed for a 2012 Kia Sorento that has the factory tow package.
You will notice that you are only temporarily disconnecting the driver side tail light wiring connector. The converter box is designed to be mounted so that it is protected by the rear fascia, but the connection points are located on the underside of the vehicle. No part of the wiring harness actually plugs into the vehicle tail light wiring.
