We have boat trailer bunk carpet in widths from 8 to 18-inches, shown on the linked page. But the Fulton 12-inch wide carpet # FCR8012 that you referenced will be your best bet since its width will work perfectly on 2 x 4s.
Since this roll is 144-inches (12-feet) long you will need for each of your 16-foot 2 x 4s one complete roll plus 1/3 of another roll. A total of 6 rolls will do it and give you a little extra. A heavy-duty staple gun, available at any hardware store, is ideal for installation.
This carpet is USA-made and it carries a 5-year limited warranty.
