7-Way Kit for 2017 Dodge Durango without Tow Package that Includes Brake Controller Wiring
Published 09/05/2018 >
Question:
I installed the Tekonsha 22113 harness for my Durango. I have turn signals, brake lights, and running lights working on the trailer. However, Im getting no power to the trailer brakes. I used the Tekonsha Primus IQ controller and installed everything according to instructions. Still no power to the trailer brakes

For your 2017 Dodge Durango without the factory tow package the 7-way kit part # TK22113 that you referenced is a confirmed fit to install trailer wiring and brake controller wiring. First thing I would check is to make sure the fuses are all installed in the fuse holders. Is the brake controller powering on? Or is the screen totally blank? Have you tested the brake controller with the manual override lever if the controller is powering on?
