I am considering this Thule Trac Rac SR for my 2018 Ford F150, 5.5 foot bed. Will this rack work for this vehicle? What I can not find anywhere is the overall height from the bottom of the slide rail to the top of the cross bar? One would want to know this if you are driving into parking garages, ya think?

The Thule TracRac SR you need for your 2018 Ford F-150 5-1/2 foot bed is the part # TH43002XT-508 which is a confirmed fit and would work well. The height from the base rails to the top of the crossbars is going to be 27-5/16 inches.
