Question:
Hi Guys, I bought this MH a couple of months ago, it has a Blue OX Steering Stabilizer button control system,That the Dealer didnt even tell me about. Figure that...... Anyway, not sure if it works or not? Is there a way of testing it? Also, Im reading about how terrible these F53 chassis sway all over the road. What do you suggest for the front end and rear to fix these issues? I will be going for a 2 month trip here in a couple of weeks. Thanks so much

You are correct that the F-53 chassis like what you have on your 2017 Thor A.C.E. RV is known for having some sway issues on the road. This can be greatly improved by adding a front and rear anti-sway bar to the chassis which will help to balance weight transfer and reduce body roll.
For your Thor A.C.E. I recommend the Roadmaster Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-146 for the rear axle and the Roadmaster Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-148 for the front. All the needed mounting hardware is included with each assembly.
It sounds like your Thor A.C.E. is equipped with the Blue Ox TruCenter Steering Control, which is indeed operated by the push of a button. From what I understand you simply need to push the button when the RV steering seems off and hold it until you feel it is where it needs to be, and then release the button. You can test its function by simply using it to see if it offers enough correction to any issues you are having on the road.

I have a 2017 Thor A.C.E. 30.1 with a Ford v10 and not sure what the chassis is, I think maybe F-53. Bought it with 3000 miles and just put 2000 miles on it. Did not like the way it handled and swayed. Been reading the reviews and thinking about the anti-sway bars for front and rear along with the steering stabilizer. Would like it know what you recommend and if I could install with some help and from the ground? Is there anything else I could do to improve the ride such as shocks, airbags or sumo springs? It seemed on our trip to hit road bumps very hard. Looking forward to dealing with etrailer.
