Trailer hitch Lock for Use on a 2015 Chevy Silverado with a 2-1/2 Inch Hitch and Reducer Sleeve

Question:

HI, I have a 2015 Silverado with a 2 1/2 hitch opening , I use an adapter to reduce it down to 2 inches with a 5/8 pin. will this lock work on my hitch ?

You will actually need a longer hitch pin to fit all the way through your 2-1/2 inch hitch on your 2015 Chevy Silverado. Bulldog lock # BD580402 does not have a long enough useable span for a 2-1/2 inch receiver. The lock I recommend for you is our lock # e98881. It has a useable span of 3-5/8 inches.
