Question:
Hello! I saw this question that another customer asked and your response was Your Tie Down Model 66 can easily be replaced by one of our actuators. The Titan part # T43329007K would be a great drum brake option that has a 7,000 lb capacity and can fit 2 inch or 1-7/8 inch hitch balls. I see that the Titan part that you referred to does not have a lockout. Is that something that I might want to upgrade to or would I have to change other parts if I upgrade to a manual/electric lockout? I was thinking about getting Item # T4339720 but know nothing about trailer breaks. Thank you!

The Titan Leverlock Brake Actuator, # T43397007K, that you referenced does not include a lockout system for backing your trailer, but an electric lockout solenoid, # T4748800 will fit and work well to give you a lock out. With just these two parts you'd be set. I also recommend using a shield # T4835800183 to both protect and give the finished look.
