Are Keys and Locks for the Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit # 295-000019 Unique

Question:

I dont see in any other QandA whether the key for each lock is unique to that specific lock or can it be used to open 8 or 10 or 1000 other locks of the same part #? Are keys unique to each lock or would my key open several other part # 295-000019 locks?

Unless you choose the "Keyed Alike" option when ordering the Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit # 295-000019 each unit that you received would have a randomly chosen lock core number.

Just to give you an idea of how unique that would be I have linked our page of replacement keys for Global Link RV Locks. There are about 91 keys that we currently carry on our end (as of August 2018) but I do know that Global Link has quite a few more keys/lock out there.

So no, the keys and locks are not 100% unique, but it isn't like there are only 10 different locks out there.
