Question:

I have an 8foot x 8, 240 pound door and was wondering how far out on the door do I need to go to anchor the assist cables, if I use the 96inch 160# system? Thank you for your time.

You'll want to anchor the straps that the Enclosed Trailer Ramp Spring # CB250D96SHD uses on the ramp door right at about 80 inches in width. This is the distance between the reel centers of the ramp spring.
