The Edge EZ programmer part # EP30200 is the correct fit for your 1998 Dodge Ram with a 5.9 Cummins. This will give you an additional 65 horsepower and 180 ft lbs of torque. This will give you a noticeable bump in power but not a crazy amount increase that would potentially damage the vehicle's driveline.
