Question:
I have a 2004 Newmar Mountain Aire DP. My electric steps dont go all the way in. The y stay out about 4 inches. Other than that they work fine. Do I need to order LC 379161? Thanks

I spoke with my contact at Lippert Components and he said that there should be a cam on the side of your steps that allow you to adjust your steps, but the 4" difference that you are seeing is either the result of a bad motor or your gear missing a tooth.
Try checking the teeth on your gear to make sure everything looks good. Either way if you could let me know what steps you have I can either help you find what you need.
