The Yakima aero bars that come with the roof rack, parts # Y00425, # Y00145, and # Y06022 for your 2018 Hyundai Kona, are actually a standard size so there are many options for you to choose from!

If you are looking for the best roof mount bike rack out there then I highly recommend the Thule UpRide # TH599000. This is a wheel mount bike rack that is made of aluminum so it is lightweight and won't be prone to rust. It also features a ratcheting system for one of the easiest ways to secure your bike. The only downside to this is that you would need to use Thule cores # TH450200 to lock the bike and rack so they wouldn't match up with the roof rack locks.

For the Yakima version you need to take the HighRoad # Y02114. This is essentially the same bike rack but it doesn't have quite the same kind of ratcheting system to hold the bike. Instead it uses a knob to tighten up the wheel hoops. With this bike rack you can purchase the Yakima locks # Y07206 and use the same key for your roof rack and one of the HighRoad racks.

I recommend going with the Yakima JayLow Kayak Carrier # Y04073 when it comes to hauling your kayak around. This system can accommodate 1 or 2 kayaks and also have a folding feature for when you aren't carrying any kayaks. This comes with all of the straps that you need for one kayak so if you do decide to carry 2 some additional straps, part # Y04031, will need to be used.
