If your 2008 Chevy Silverado is a 1500 then the bracket kit that you need is part # 57-227PK but if you have a 2500 or 3500 then you need part # 57-231PK.

Please note that grille guards are vehicle specific. You will need to verify that the Westin HDX Grille Guard you have either came off of a 1500, part # 57-2270, or a 2500/3500, part # 57-2310, to ensure that your grille guard will fit.
