Question:
On our weekend getaways we haul two 12 foot kayaks and two bikes. Can the kayak carriers be removed and substituted with a pair roof mount bike carriers? Our current solution is to put the bikes on roof racks with the boats hanging out the back of the truck. Not a happy solution for longer trips.

There is a version of the Malone trailers that comes with 2 kayaks and 2 bikes. It is # MPG461KB and it is the ideal solution for you. The other option is to carry the bikes in the bed of your 2017 Honda Ridgeline and keep the kayaks on the roof.
You may have already seen these but a great solution is to carry the bikes in the bed of your 2017 Honda Ridgeline and keep the kayaks on the roof by using a tailgate pad such as # SR26461. These pads actually work quite well. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw a recent demonstration of a similar pad.
