Question:
2005 National Seabreeze LX with a 6 pole wire connector by the hitch. My new boat has a flat 5 connector is there an adapter for 6 to 5?

Expert Reply:
We do not carry a 6-way to 5-way adapter, so I recommend making one using the Hopkins Trailer Connector Adapter - 6-Pole Round to 6-Pole Square # HM47415 and removing the 6-pole square to replace with the Hopkins Endurance 5-Way Flat Trailer Connector - Vehicle End - Ergonomic Design # HM47900. You won't use the 12V feature so I recommend removing that wire from the 6-way so it doesn't draw any power.
I've attached a wiring article to help with the connections.
