Question:
Just purchased the extension for a wider wheel but the locking nob is not long enough to seat the rack. Do they make a longer bolt to secure rack?

You need to use the Replacement Short Standoff Extension part # TH852-3482-001 with the Replacement Long Mounting Bracket part # 752-1425-002 on your Thule Spare Me 2 Bike Rack part # TH963PRO. The Replacement Long Standoff Extension part # 852-3305-001 that you are using now will not allow for the locking handle to engage while using the Replacement Long Mounting Bracket part # 752-1425-002.
I have attached a photo of this for you as well.
