Troubleshooting Brake Controller Install in 2003 Chevy Avalanche Where There's No Power At All
Published 07/18/2018 >
Question:
Please Help me.....I purchased a CURT Venturer Brake Controller and wiring harness 51342 and 51110 I finally had time to install it the other day and I cannot get it to work. I have a 2003 chevy avalanch and I have a factory-wired 7 wire tow package. I installed the wiring harness to the fuse box underneath the dash exactly how your website describes. The CURT Venturer display is blank without the trailer hooked up to it no power to the unit?. The trailer signal lights/brake lights work normal. What do I do?

There are a few connnections under the hood of your 2003 Chevy Avalanche that need to be made for a brake controller to install and power on. If you check out the help article I attached you'll see what those connections are.
