Will Kuat Transfer Bike Rack Fit Class I Hitch on 2009 Honda Fit

Question:

Hi, I have a 09 Honda Fit with a Reese Towpower 1-1/4inch Class I hitch. Will this work with my hitch? The distance from the stop tab to the pin hole is roughly 1-3/4. Tried a Yakima Holdup and it would not work as it hit the tab. Trying to avoid another bad purchase!!! Thanks.

The Kuat Transfer part # KU74FR that you referenced is compatible with your Class I hitch installed on your 2009 Honda Fit. The Yakima bike racks like the one you tried are not compatible with Class I hitches which is why it wouldn't fit all the way into your hitch. That stop tab is actually there to prevent Class II bike racks from installing in the hitch.
