Nope, you don't have to cut or trim anything to install the Curt Hitch # C11529 on your 2018 Hyundai Kona.
I have linked the installation instructions so you can take a look at the install process if you like; there is an underbody panel which needs to be temporarily removed but it will be re-installed.
Please note that with this hitch, all non-trailer loads such as bike racks and cargo carriers need to be supported with Stabilizing Straps # 18050 to maintain the warranty.
