There is a 2inch Curt trailer hitch listed for this vehicle on the website, but there are no pictures the product on the vehicle or instructions for installation. There are a couple of references in reviews and QandA that make it sound like it is for the previous generation Leaf 2017 and earlier. Is there in fact a new hitch for the new body style fit?

EcoHitch has confirmed that their hitch part # 306-X7221 is a confirmed fit for your 2018 Nissan Leaf. I wish we had a picture I could show you of it installed but we haven't had the chance to install the hitch on a 2018 Leaf yet. But we do know it will fit and work well for you.
This would work great with a bike rack like the Kuat Transfer part # KU74FR.
