Question:
Will your class 3 hitch fit 2011 ford escape with full size spare tire?
asked by: Tracy
Expert Reply:
The Curt Class III Round Tube Receiver Hitch part # 13650 if you do not have a factory hitch installed or the Curt Class III Round Tube Receiver Hitch part # C13651 if you do have a factory 1-1/4" hitch installed will work with the factory 155/70-17 spare tire. If your spare tire is larger than this then we cannot confirm fitment.
Please keep in mind that some models have a vibration dampener on the exhaust which may interfere with hitch installation. The dampener can be bent out of the way, removed and left off, or reattached by welding to the other side of the exhaust pipe.
