Expert Reply:
I spoke to my contact at Yakima and unfortunately they were not able to inform me of the pull strength rating of the Replacement PlusNut Hardware Kit for Yakima Roof Rack Tracks part # Y8880039. The reason this number is not readily available is because the pull strength rating could vary depending on the surface and type of material it is attached to. They do test their products but there would be too many variables to give an accurate estimation in regards to the pull strength of the PlusNuts.
