Can Trailer Ramp Springs # RS16933LH and # RS16933RH Be Width Adjusted
Updated 06/18/2018 | Published 06/15/2018 >
Question:
My trailer ramps will fold down onto my trailer or they can be held in an upright position. If I put springs on the hinge could I still lay the ramps flat? Also I assume I could still slide the ramps for different widths. And one spring per ramp?

The Ramp Springs part # RS16933LH and # RS16933RH are designed for trailers just like what you have. The ramps will feel lighter as you raise and lower them but since there won't be tension when the are upright you can slide them in and out to accomodate different widths. I attached a picture of these installed on a trailer that has sliding rams just like yours for you to check out as well.
