I am interested in purchasing a roof rack for a 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT 5-door hatchback. The car has no sunroof. It has 2 flush trim pieces along both sides of roof with 4 fixed mounting points 2 front and 2 back roughly 30-1/2 inches apart. The rack of interest is: 2013 Hyundai Elantra Roof Rack by Rhino Rack. Roof Rack Includes: Rhino-Rack 2500 Roof Rack Questions for you: 1 Please confirm that the rack mounts at fixed points on car roof and does not require clips at each leg. 2 How easily can the rack assembly be removed from the car. The Rhino-Rack roof rack that you are looking at for your 2013 Hyundai Elantra, parts # RRVA118B-2, # RRRLKVA, and # DK289 will connect directly to those mounting points on your roof. They do not use the clamp style.
I have attached a review video of the same legs and fit kit being installed on a 2016 Hyundai Accent for you to reference for the installation. The rack assembly is actually pretty easy to install and take off of the vehicle. In the video out installer goes from start to finish and it is under 7 minutes. Obviously after the initial setup the time taken to install and remove will be significantly less.
