Hitch Spacers For Curt Trailer Hitch # 13147

Question:

I have a about the spacers that came with the hitch. For both size spacers the ones sized for the 1/2inch bolt as well as the 7/16inch bolt, one of the two spacers seems cut a bit close so that one side of the spacer seems thin see the spacer on the left in the image below which shows the two 7/16inch spacers. Is this normal and within the acceptable tolerances for the hitch? Thanks in advance for any insights you can offer!

The square hole spacer blocks for your Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Class III # 13147 are within the tolerances as you referenced. They are simply used to keep the bolt from rotating so you can torque the flange nut to specifications.

I've attached the installation details to assist with the installation and heat shield modification.
