I checked with Thule and the item you selected, Thule Passage 3 Bike Carrier, part # TH911XT, is a confirmed fit for your 2007 Volvo XC70.
You will use Fit Dial Setting number 9 when installing the Thule Passage on your Volvo. Also note that you will not be able to use the rear wiper when the rack is attached to the vehicle.
When carrying womens, childrens or odd-shape framed bicycles, I would recommend using the Thule Adapter Bar, part # TH982XT. This adapter bar allows those types of bikes to be carried level, and makes attaching the bikes to the rack easier.
