The tail light opening in my trailer is 4-3/8inch diameter. Will model STL101RB with rubber grommet fit?

The GloLight LED Trailer Tail Light # STL101RB referenced in your question, when used with the Rubber Grommet # A45GB, is designed to fit a 4-1/2 inch cutout on the trailer. Since your opening is just a tiny bit smaller at 4-3/8 inches, you should have no problem fitting the grommet on your trailer and you shouldn't have to make any additional modifications.
