Will yakima RidgeBack 2 bike work with Curt Class I Trailer hitch? I have a Mercedes C250.

The Yakima RidgeBack # Y02457 is an excellent choice to use with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11030 on your 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class. The RidgeBack has an adapter sleeve which allows it to be installed in either a 1-1/4" or 2" trailer hitch receiver. Even though the RidgeBack says it isn't compatible with a Class I hitch that is referring to whether or not the receiver has a weld-stop in it. Since the Curt doesn't you are able to use them together.
Please note that per the Curt warranty on the trailer hitch a stabilizer strap like part # 18050 must be used for all non-trailer loads like a bike rack.
You may also be interested in the Softride Soft Hook-and-Loop Tie Downs # SR54FR to help keep your front tire from potentially damaging another bike or making contact with your vehicle. If any of your bikes have an alternative frame that doesn't have a horizontal cross tube like a traditional man's bike then an adapter bar like part # Y02531 is recommended. This will help keep your bike level and increase ground clearance.
