Question:
Hi can you please clarify the weight capacity on this roof rack: RRVA137B-2 RRRLKVA DK227 I see 130 pounds in one section and 165 pounds in another section. Thanks 2013 Chevrolet Silverado

Expert Reply:
The Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars - 54" Long - Qty 2 # RRVA137B-2 are rated for 165 lbs. The 2500 Series Legs # RRRLKVA and the DK Fit Kit # DK227 are not rated for a weight capacity. When installed together on your 2013 Chevy Silverado, the weight capacity is rated for 130 lbs. This is not due to the individual components so it must be because of a weight restriction on your roof from the Chevy.
With this rack, I also recommend the metal lock cores # RRVA-LEC4
