Enlarging a Frame Hole to Install a Trailer Hitch on a 2018 Toyota Yaris iA

Hi. Your writeup says No Drillinginch required. But looking at the instructions this does require a Die Grinder which seems pretty similar. I dont have a grinder ~ $150 @ home depot. Is there a way for me to enlarge the hole other than buy buying a grinder? Maybe by drilling - do you know what size drill bit

You wouldn't necessarily have to use a die grinder to enlarge the frame hole for trailer hitch # C11421 for your 2018 Toyota Yaris iA. But if you wanted to most auto parts stores have a tool loan program. I believe even some home improvement stores are starting to do that too. Otherwise, you could use a file, chisel and hammer, or even a drill.

The size it needs to be is sort of arbitrary. There is a spacer block that goes up into the frame that is about 3/16 inches thick, 1 inch wide, and 2 inches long. So, if there were a 3/16 inch by 1 inch slot right there then that would be the minimum size the hole would have to be.
