The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56127 is a confirmed fit for your 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport as long as you have LED taillights. We do not have an installation video, however I can walk you through the installation. This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your Mitsubishi Outlander Sport's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side tail lights. You will have to remove the tail light assemblies to access this harness. Once you've plugged in the T-connector, run the hot lead up to your car battery. Connect the lead wire to the included fuse holder (you will cut the wire loop in the middle), and then connect the fuse holder to the positive terminal on your battery.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed in an out-of-the-way location within your cargo area.
I've attached the installation details which includes photos and have also attached an article to assist with routing that power wire to the battery.
If you don't have the LED tail lights, then you will use Curt # C59236 instead.
