Question:
I am interested in getting a few of these vents. How do you install these? How big of a hole would I need to drill into my enclosed trailer? Thanks in advance!

To install the 7-1/2 Inch Round Butterfly Vent, # 371800, you will need to drill or cut a hole in your trailer that is 5-7/8 inches diameter to no more than 6 inches diameter. If you have access to a hole saw this size for a drill the wold be the cleanest way to cut the hole. A smaller hole could be used, but the butterfly may rub on the trailer sides if a smaller hole is used.
The mounting holes on this vent are 4-9/16 inches on center and the distance between the inside of any two holes across the vent is 6 inches. This vent is 1/4 inch thick overall. An 8 x 3/4 inch Slotted Round Head Wood Screw, # 30587, could be used for installation in many cases.
I produced a short video showing how the vent would be installed, see link.
