Question:

I am interested in the Thule TH810XT paddle board roof racks. However I need to get the cross bar roof racks for my 2015 Ford Taurus. Does Thule make ones that fit my vehicle? If not is the a quality company that does that the Thule paddle board racks will adapt to? I would prefer Thule if they make them. Also is drilling required? Thank you

There is a very high-quality roof rack that fits your 2015 Ford Taurus which will allow you to use the Thule SUP Taxi XT Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier # TH810001, though Thule does not make a rack which fits your vehicle.

Instead, I recommend the Rhino-Rack roof rack, which consists of parts # RRVA126B-2, # RRRLKVA, and # DK229.

This rack has crossbars which are 3-1/8" wide x 1-3/16" tall so you will be able to use the Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier # TH810001 with it. The SUP Taxi can fit a pair of boards, has telescoping cradles that allow for a perfect fit and secures your boards with steel-reinforced straps. It will mount easily to your Rhino Rack roof rack with straps that you tighten with the turn of a knob, and the Taxi comes with lock cores as an added security measure.
