just wanting to make sure this will fit right, there is a cut out in the skirt kinda like the newer tahoes ect.

Curt shows that trailer hitch # 14090 will fit all models of the 2006 GMC Savana 1500 and 2500. For the 3500 they only show it as a fit for the standard cargo van. Assuming that you have either a 1500 or 2500 and the conversion was a factory option then the hitch will fit.
Curt lists hitch # C15320 as a fit for all models of the 2006 GMC Savana 1500, 2500, and 3500.
