Question:

I would let to get one of these EM07705, but only one stand, not the 2. But I would like something that would serve as the other rack but go on the roof of my Nissan Frontier, something like THLB65 with required footing. Is that possible?

Although the Erickson Truck Bed Ladder Rack # EM07705 isn't available as half of the ladder rack, you could just use one of the uprights with a roof rack like you suggested.

The Thule kit that you are wanting for your 2012 Nissan Frontier consists of the 47" SquareBars # TH712200, Evo Clamp Feet # TH710501, and Fit Kit # TH145160 if you have a naked roof. If you have a Crew Cab with rails that run front to back then you need the 47" WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711220 Black or # TH711200 Silver along with the Evo Raised Rail Feet # TH710401.

Please note that the ladder rack is rated for 800 lbs as a whole. If you are only using half of it then that would reduce your weight capacity.
