Adapting Thule Big Mouth Bike Carrier to Factory Whispbar Crossbars on Mazda 3

Question:
I have a Thule Big Mouth bike mount with the square bar mounting. I recently purchased a 2015 Mazda 3 with a rack installed that is yakima whispar. i was curious what adapters i would need to fit my bid mouth mount to the whispbar rail.

To adapt your Thule Big Mouth Bike Rack to work with the Whispbar crossbars on your 2015 Mazda 3, you can use the Thule XADAPT2 AeroBlade Load Bar Adapter # XADAPT2. As long as the crossbars on your Mazda's roof feature a top channel, this kit will let you mount your bike rack via the channels on the crossbars, instead of having to clamp around them. Since the original hardware for the Thule Big Mouth will only accommodate the smaller width of square bars, this will be your best option to adapt them to the wider aero-style bars on your vehicle.
