Can you Tow with a 2012 Subaru Impreza

Question:
wondering if i can tow a 1500 gross weight small aluminum boat with trailer. my hitch says capacity of 2000 and tongue 200. seems like i should be able to - although i dont have any wiring hooked up which is a separate issue thanks!

According to the owner's manual for your 2012 Subaru Impreza, "Your vehicle is neither designed nor intended to be used for trailer towing. Therefore, never tow a trailer with your vehicle." With that being said, should you choose to ignore this recommendation then you can use the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 118573 to add a 4-way trailer connector.
