Question:

I have a 2009, Chevrolet Colorado, WT without factory trailer. I have a Dexter Predator DX2 Trailer Brake Controller, as well as the necessary ETBC7 kit. My problem/concern is that when I research which circuit breaker to use with this setup I come across both the 20 amp or the 30 amp – which is the correct one to use?

You'd want to use the 20 amp circuit breaker like # PK54220PL unless your trailer has more than two brake axles. If that's the case you'd want to use the 30 amp breaker # 38630.
