What is distance from front of hook to front of pin hole?

I have actually been asked about this distance before for the MaxxTow Tow Hook # MT70028. Although the first time it was asked they wanted to know the distance from the center of the pin hole to the start of the hook. That measurement is 4-1/8". If measuring from the front of the pin hole to the start of the hook it is 3-13/16".
