Does Crossmember # RP58147 have a Front and Back and Should it Be at an Angle on Slider Base

Question:
Im installing on a slider base, does this crossmember have a front and rear? Does it slope slightly to the rear on the slider base? I have attached a picture if it will help. I have ordered the cross member and the head for the 16k hitch. When I bolt the new cross member to the sliders the cross member sits at a bit of an angle, is that the way it should install? I tried to level it up but the pre-drilled holes wont line up to allow me to do that.

Replacement Crossmember Head Support # RP58147 is symmetrical so there isn't really a front and rear. The large center pin will have the nut at the back (closest to the truck cab). It will be at a slight angle once mounted to a slider base. Take a look at the picture I have included that shows what it looks like.
