Wilco Hitchgate Solo Compatibility with EcoHitch Trailer Hitch Receiver on 2017 Subaru Outback

Question:

Just one more question. With the EcoHitch is there a minimum clearance of 3.5 inches from the end of the bumper to the hitch pin hole on the Subaru? This is a requirement for the Wilco Hitchgate. Again many thanks.

If I understand the Wilco Hitchgate information correctly, there is a minimum measurement of 3.5 inches from the bend in the system to the hitch pin hole. This will work fine with the EcoHitch that will have a hitch pin hole that sits back about 2.5 inches from the outermost part of the bumper giving you an extra inch of clearance. I've attached a video of this hitch on a 2016 Outback to further assist.
