Roof Rack Recommendations for a 2004 Volkswagen Passat Sedan with Naked Roof

Question:

I am looking for a solution that would work on my 2004 VW Passat Sedan with no existing roof rack. I had bought 4 older foot packs from my brother recently but obviously wouldnt fit on my car correctly. I went to the Thule website and it said that there was no solution for my type of car, but your website said that this fit kit would work for my car? If this fit kit does work for my car, will it actually fit on the older style foot packs as well? I couldnt find a model number for the Thule foot packs.

Thule used to have a roof rack to fit the bare roof on your 2004 Volkswagen Passat, but that has been discontinued so we need to go with a different solution for you, and for that I recommend the Inno Aero roof rack which consists of the following parts:

- 51" Aero Crossbars # INXB130-2
- Through Feet # INXS250
- Fit Kit # INK533

I really like this roof rack system because it has the quality of a high-end roof rack but doesn't reflect the higher cost associated with the high-end options.
