Recommendation For Slide Out Awnings for 72.5 inch, 79 inch, and 108 inch Sizes

Updated 03/27/2018 | Published 03/26/2018

Question:

I am looking into the slide out awning kits you sell. I have one that measures 72.5 inch and one that measures 79 inch. Which kits would you recommend. I also have one that measures 108 inch, but I do not have the required 6 inch of clearance on the side due to the patio awning bar. Do you have a solution for this? It is a 2011 Keystone Raptor toy hauler fifth wheel.

Based on your information, I have some options for your. To get the correct awnings, you will need to measure the outside of the box from flange to flange, land in the box width range, and have the 6 inches of clearances like you referenced.

For slide-out number 1, I recommend the Solera 6.5 Foot Slide-Topper, Item # LCV000165063. This black awning is 78 inches wide and has a box width range of 68 inches to 73-3/4 inches.

For slide-out number 2, I recommend the Solera 7 Foot Slide-Topper, Item # LCV000168105. This black awning is 84 inches wide and has a box width range of 74 inches to 79-3/4 inches.

For slide-out number 3, I called the manufacturer for ideas. They told me that the 6 inch clearance is total so you would need only 3 inches per side. If you still will not have clearance then they recommended going to a smaller awning. If the clearance will work out for you then I recommend the Solera 9 Foot Slide-Topper, Item # LCV000168108. This black awning is 108 inches wide and has a box range of 98 inches to 103-3/4 inches. If clearance still an issue, I recommend going with a smaller awning like the Solera 8.5 Foot Slider-Topper, Item # LCV000168107. This black awning 102 inches wide and has a box width range of 92 inches to 97-3/4 inches.

I have attached videos for you to check out.
