Restoring Stock Tune to 2005 Chevrolet Silverado Diesel

Question:
The video said to put the edge in 0-stock and run through the program what does run through the program mean. We just bought the vehicle and want to remove it.We are at the garage now and when we look at the display we do not find where it says stock. If you could contact us as soon as possible it would be greatly appreciated.

Expert Reply:
All performance tuners store the original factory tune data in their internal memory after the new tune is installed. If the vehicle has been re-tuned with an aftermarket programmer that very same programmer is needed to restore the original tune back into the truck's computer.
The 2005 Silverado with 6.6L V8 diesel can use two Edge Juice with Attitude tuners, parts # EP21501 and # EP21401. Instructions are linked for you; these explain the process of returning the stock tune. Please refer to page 29.
