Recommended Suspension Enhancement for 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport

Question:

I would like to know if the air ride control will fit on the rear of my 2001 jeep Cherokee sport? The air lift company doesnt show that it would work ? Please help?

If your Jeep Cherokee Sport is a 4x4 model, then the Air Lift Ride Control Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle # AL59507 is a fit for your vehicle. It will allow you to adjust the ride by adding or removing air from the bags. The bags will adjust from 5 to 100 psi. This system comes with the manual inflation valves for adjustment, but you can add a compressor system like # AL25592 to give you control and a gauge. This will allow adjustment at any time from the comfort of your driver's seat.

If you have a 2WD Jeep, then there isn't an air bag option, but you can use the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-402-40 which utilize small pockets of air in the microcellular urethane to progressively assist with load. The nice aspect of this style spring is it is easier to install and it requires no maintenance.

Either option will assist with leveling, support, and body roll stability on your Jeep. Let me know if you have further questions.
