Where do people usually tap into 12 V system for power? is there something easy and close by the valve for this??? 2012 VOLTAGE TH 5thW

Honestly if it were me installing Valterra EZ Valve Electric Waste Valve # E40-8 I would run a new wire to the battery. If you tap into an existing 12 volt circuit the extra load on that circuit could cause a fuse, or breaker if equipped, to blow. Basically you would have to be sure that the combined power draw of the valve and whatever else may be on that circuit is within the capacity of that circuit. This particular valve pulls 2.5 amps. But as far as any 12 volt circuits that are near by on your trailer I could not say for sure.
For wire you can use # 12-1-1 sold by the foot.
