Recommended Roof Rack for a 2015 Jeep Renegade with Sunroof

Question:

What cross bar/rack combo can go on a 2015 jeep renegade with factory side bars while still being able to open the sunroof? All black color add ons if available

I do have roof rack options for your 2015 Jeep Renegade with raised factory side rails but unfortunately we cannot recommend you open the sunroof with them installed. This has to do more with the noise associated with having a roof rack installed and the sunroof open than it does with the actual fit and clearance.

For your Renegade, I recommend the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbar System part # RRVA126B and part # RRSX100. This system has aero crossbars which will reduce wind drag in addition to channel mounts for use with channel mounted rooftop accessories. They have a weight capacity of 165 lbs though you will need to be sure the vehicle's roof can handle this much weight first.

I have attached a review video of these crossbars installed on a similar Jeep Renegade for you. As you can see they do sit up pretty high on the roof which should allow for full access to the sunroof but again we cannot recommend this. If you are really dead set on opening the roof with a rack installed you will want to utilize the channels for the best chance of clearance with rooftop mounted accessories.
