Finding Dedicated Brake Light Circuit to Install a Trailer Brake Controller on a 2015 Chevy Equinox
Updated 03/21/2018 | Published 03/19/2018 >
Question:
Is the circuit you have on line which is for up to 2012 also good for the 2017 Chevy Equinox? That is the Black Connectorinch White wire on Pin11? Thank you.

We have spoken with Tekonsha about the BCM pin to use for installing a brake controller in a 2017 Chevy Equinox and they still state that the correct pin is the 11 pin.
I would still recommend verifying the pin with a circuit tester like part # PTW2993.
